marcher lord press gallery

At Marcher Lord Press we like to explore. We like to go places no one else has ever been.

We did just that when we created the animation for the introduction to the Marcher Lord Press web site. The lands imaged there were created specifically for that animation.

And sometimes we like to go back there and look around. After all, from time to time we might come upon all manner of orc, basilisk, and wyvern.

On this page you can watch the animation again, and you can also see some of the snapshots we've taken in our own forays until the untamed wilds.

    also see...

  • See worlds imagined by other Christian artists at the Fantastic Visions page at Where the Map Ends.
  • Check out Bryce and Daz|Studio, the programs we used to create the animation and these images.

Click Play (the triangle) to start the animation.

Trouble for the home team. Not to worry, though, the marcher lord prevails!

Part of the wildlands the marcher lord must explore and defend.

The marcher lord's brooding vigil as he keeps watch over the wildlands.

The castle of the marcher lord--a foggy morning.

Winter has set in. It's cold inside a castle, but at least there is a fire.

Fog spills in from the bay. It's a chilly fall morning for the marcher lord and his men.

The image that launched a publishing company. Well, Marcher Lord Press would've been born even

without this image, but it served (and serves) as inspiration for the mood we're trying to capture.

Below is the fantastic icon and symbol of Marcher Lord Press,
designed by David Carlson and Chris Gilbert at
StudioGearbox.
